I know I've told you all just how much Xander adores his little brother Blayne, but now I'd like to show you just how sweet their relationship really is. A few weeks ago I was busy putting things away in the boys room, and left the room for a few seconds to throw some clothes into the dryer. Upon returning this is what I found.....

Having two kids may be a little overwhelming, but we are so glad that we live in a country where we get paid to have kids. Hopefully Obama does not take that away.

My Little Bro

Dustin is by far the most entertaining person I know. He always has the funniest stories, interesting clothes and just a great sense of humor. I thought I had seen everything my brother could pull out of his hat until I saw our old car. We sold it to my little brother when we got our new cars and he told me that he was planning on having fun with it. So, say goodbye to Codilyn's old car and hello to Herbie with a face lift.
To help pay for the cost of buying a new car, he let friends pay him to take a baseball bat to the top. You can see the dents.
P.S. You can kinda see Xander's new haircut. I tried to play a trick on my mom. She was watching Xander and went up stairs to get something. I quickly grabbed some scissors and cut a chunk out of Xanders hair. I took Xander upstairs and told my mom that Xander had grabbed a pair of scissors and cut his hair while she ran upstairs. She did not fall for it, but it was worth a shot. And by the way, we had already decided to buzz Xander's head after a terrible haircut.

My Alter Ego

When growing up with two older sisters we always used to play dress up and be people we were not. My sisters would always be girls in dresses or gymnasts (either gymnasts were really cool back then or that is all we had) and when my sisters did not dress me up in girls clothes I became my alter ego. I just remembered what his name was....Blayne. I thought the name Blayne was someone strong and cool and a definite ladies man.
Speaking of alter egos, what is really the difference between alter egos and split personalities, which is a medical disease. But leave it up to Hollywood to make split personalites look cool.

Four Holidays in One Blog

We had Blayne's birthday on the 18th, Christmas on the 25th, Xanders Birthday on the 29th and New Years on the 31st. So this is the blog combining all these events in one. Needless to say the Christmas season was a little hectic for us. Christmas was great because it was a nice relaxed day of eating and opening presents.
Xanders 2nd Birthday was great. We went out to eat and had Spongebob Cake. Some people might think that Spongebob is a terrible show to have kids watch, but we cant stand watching any other kids show. My sister Aleshia made the cake and it was perfect. She used Airheads as the tongue and eyes and Swiss Cake Rolls as the feet. Very creative!!! Then, for new years we stayed up till about 10:00, I had a huge day at work the next day and everyone here needed some more sleep. But Happy New Years to everyone. I hope that 2009 is great for everyone.
