Oh, yea and here is a pic of the incident. And Xander went #2 in the toilet. So sad that our most exciting thing this week is when our son poops on the toilet.

SOOO SICK

So no one in the Beck house has had any sleep for the past couple of weeks. I thought that Xander and I just had really bad allergies because of the sneezing and runny noses we had, but then a couple of days ago Xander threw up twice and started coughing really bad. He is a great kid when he is sick because he just becomes really clingy, and a little whiney, but I love the clingy part of it all. One day he came out of his room with just diaper, shoes on and a pair of shorts on his arm. This is a just a couple of pictures of Xander trying to play hide and seek with me and the camera. Do you spy, a pregnant Codi???

My Favorite Part of the Day

Do you remember when you dad or mom would come home from work and you would run to do the door yelling, "dad's home" and then would run and give him a hug? OH MY GOSH, THAT IS THE BEST FEELING EVER!!! It makes me feel so good to hear Xander yell dad and run to the door with open arms to see me. I feel bad that I ever stopped doing that to my dad and am sad for the day when Xander stops doing that to me.

Things have been very good for us here in Tulsa. My job is going great. I am having to play catch up and it is a little overwhelming, but I will have an assistant starting Monday and that will help relieve a lot of the pressures that I have. Codilyn is doing well. She has finally stopped throwing up so much but now has tons of heartburn. Which by the way can you take heartburn medicine when you are pregnant?

Xander is doing great. He loves to listen to music and is getting really good at dancing. He has learned so many new words and he has learned how to open all our of doors. We have caught him open the pantry and start eating snacks. He comes and interrupts us during our private moments in the bathroom and he has learned how to get onto our patio. The other day this is what we found. Him sitting in our chair reading. Gotta love the kid.

Codilyn's Disclaimer and Apologies

Before I get any hate mail from any of my Utah friends with phrases such as... "You were in Utah and didn't tell me?!?", or "Well, I can see how much our friendship means to you.". Let me just say that the trip to Utah was extremely last minute. So last minute that it was talked about on a Friday, decided on Saturday, and began on Sunday. I barely even had time to pack. When I did get there I made the decision that this trip would just be all about spending time with family. "Why?" you may ask...
Reason #1: We rarely get to see or spend time with my family.
Reason #2: I really wanted Xander to get to know and spend as much time with his little cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents as possible.
Reason #3: I didn't have my own source of transportation and didn't want to monopolize my parents.
Reason #4: Please remember that not only is it very difficult to get anything done with a toddler, I am also a sickly pregnant woman who most of the time really doesn't feel like doing anything at all.
I hope that my reasons were understandable, and that none of my friends are left with any anger, animosity, or miniature Codilyn voodoo dolls. If for any reason my explanations left you with no feelings of sympathy or forgiveness for me whatsoever, please take a moment and reflect upon this.......

One of the Funniest

My little sister Lindsey is one of the funniest people we know. I love her humor because it is never derogatory or crude. She is just really witty, but not a lot of people get to see that side, but I just wanted to make a little post just about her. While Codi and Xander were up in Utah, Lindsey was quickly loved by all the Kendell Kids and by Xander. She went on all these little kid rides with everyone and Xander had a blast with her. While going through all the pictures I found a whole series of pictures of Lindsey and had to post some of them. Codi said that she asked her to take some pictures of her and so she did, and this is what follows. We love you Lins and miss you.

A LOOONNGG MONTH

This has been a really long month. We got the news that we needed to move and within a week had to move. It was a little rushed, and we did a horrible job planning and packing, but thank goodness we had some great help.

Things are changing really quick around our place. Right after we moved to Tulsa Codi and Xander made a quick trip to Utah so I could set up the new place, because it is really hard unpacking with a toddler around and so that I could play catch up at work. There they had fun with all of the Kendells and with my two sisters who are up there right now. He had a great time, at least it looks like he had a great time in the pictures, and came back doing things he had never done before, like having a whole new vocabulary, only wanting to feed himself, only eat what the adults are eating and crawling in his highchair when he is hungry.

Things are going great up in Tulsa but we miss our good friends in OKC.

Xander Will Have a Baby....

Well, what is everyone's guess? Are we going to have a girl or another boy? Before we tell you that good news, we have some other good news. I got promoted!!! After only 4 months I got promoted to another store. We will be moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have to be there on Monday so I will be going alone, and hope to find a place to live within a couple of days. It is a lot of stress for Codi having to finish packing here at home and me looking for a place up there. But, we are so very excited. We hear that Tulsa is a lot prettier than OKC, but we will see. So this will be a very busy couple of weeks, but we are ready for it, so bring it.

And we are having another boy!!! Here will be here just around Christmas so we still have some time to go, but this kid hates food and still wont let mommy keep anything down.
